Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the Lightspeed Impact app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Joonas and Emilia Kollander (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an ad-supported service.
Upon downloading or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Application. It is strongly advised that you read and understand these terms prior to using the Application. Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or the Service Provider’s trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.
The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as functional and efficient as possible. For this reason, they reserve the right to modify the Application or its features at any time and for any reason. The Service Provider may also introduce charges for certain features or services, but any such charges will be clearly communicated in advance.
The Application stores and processes personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy in order to provide the Service. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your device, as doing so may compromise device security, expose it to malware, and cause the Application to malfunction or become unusable.
Third-Party Services
Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions. Below are links to the Terms and Conditions of third-party service providers used by the Application:
Certain features of the Application require an active internet connection. The Service Provider is not responsible if the Application does not function fully due to lack of connectivity or if you have exceeded your data allowance.
If you use the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider’s terms will apply. You may incur additional charges, including roaming charges. By using the Application, you accept responsibility for any such charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device, you confirm that you have permission from the bill payer to use the Application.
The Service Provider is not responsible for issues arising from your failure to maintain your device, including running out of battery or improper device usage that prevents access to the Application.
While the Service Provider strives to ensure that the Application functions correctly, it relies on third-party services and information. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, resulting from reliance on the Application or its availability.
The Service Provider may update, suspend, or discontinue the Application at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Application may require downloading updates. Upon termination of the Application or these terms, your right to use the Application will cease and you must delete it from your device.
User Names and Display Aliases
The Application allows users to create and use a custom display name or alias that may be visible to other users within the Application. By selecting a display name, you agree that it must comply with these Terms and all applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies, including policies related to user-generated content.
Display names must not be offensive, abusive, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate. Names that reference illegal activities, groups of people in a harmful manner, or violate the rights of others are strictly prohibited.
Display names must not contain personal information, including but not limited to real names, home addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, social media handles, or any other information that could be used to identify or contact an individual outside of the Application. This restriction applies to the user’s own personal information as well as the personal information of others.
The Service Provider reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to review, moderate, restrict, censor, modify, or disable any display name that is deemed to violate these Terms or applicable platform requirements. In cases of repeated or severe violations, the Service Provider may restrict a user’s ability to select or display a custom name to other users.
The names violating these terms are to be reported using the name reporting system built into the game.
For moderation and security reasons, the Service Provider is not obligated to notify users if their display name has been reported, reviewed, censored, or restricted. Any moderation actions taken are final and are intended to maintain a safe and compliant environment for all users.
Unit Names
The Application allows users to create and name private Units. Unit names are not publicly visible within the Application and may only be shared with other players outside of the Application at the user’s discretion.
Unit names must comply with these Terms and must not contain offensive, abusive, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate content. Unit names must also not include personal information, including real names, contact details, or any information that could identify an individual.
The Service Provider reserves the right to disable or restrict access to Units whose names violate these Terms, including in cases where such names are reported or discovered during normal operation of the Application. Disabling a Unit will prevent further data exchange between players in the Unit. Data already stored on players’ devices may remain.
Unit names can be reported using the in-game feedback system or by writing the report as an email at kollandergames@gmail.com
Users are solely responsible for how Unit names and access credentials are shared outside of the Application.
Changes to These Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. You are advised to review these Terms and Conditions regularly.
